Skrimshaw

Skrimshaw is a folk duo that is comprised of Kade Bissell and Katie Wasko. Hailing from Alaska, their originals and arrangements cover a wide variety of genres – including classical, folk, renaissance, and unique covers of popular music. Their instrumentation features the hammered dulcimer and violin; though, both Kade & Katie are multi-instrumentalists. Skrimshaw’s purpose is to invoke tales of the past, present and future. Much like a scrimshaw carving, this duo will tell a tale or two of their own using music as their vessel of delivery! No cover.
