Local 31 Pub donates meals to snap recipients
Beginning immediately, Dangerous Lee’s Local 31 Pub in Ashland will donate meals from their Late Night Bite Menu to SNAP recipients between the hours of 4:30p.m. and 6:30p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The Late Night Bite menu includes a Hot Dog with all the fixings, Pulled Pork Taco, Ramen with Pulled Pork and veggies, Fries, and Tots. If you are a SNAP recipient, just show your card to the bar tender and order one of these items. One item per SNAP family member. This program will continue until government SNAP funds are restored.
Owner Julian Jones, understands the food needs of many local residents. “Many people I know count on the SNAP money to feed themselves and their families. No one should have to go hungry in our country!” Local 31 Pub is located at 31 Water Street, #2 in Ashland.
If you aren’t in need of SNAP program but would like to donate to help Local 31 Pub feed as many in need as possible, financial donations will be accepted at the Pub.
